In doing so, pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data. We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of the users will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser will not be merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly.

09. Google Marketing Services

We use marketing and remarketing services from Google LLC (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”) on our website. These services enable us to display advertisements in a more targeted manner in order to present users with advertisements that are tailored to their interests. Remarketing is used to show users advertisements and products for which interest has been determined on other websites in the Google network. For these purposes, a code is executed by Google when our website is called up and so-called (re) marketing tags are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie, ie a small file, is saved on the user’s device (comparable technologies can also be used instead of cookies). The cookies can be set by various domains, including google.com, doubleclick.net, invitemedia.com, admeld.com, googlesyndication.com or googleadservices.com. This file records which websites users have visited, which content they are interested in and which offers have been used. In addition, technical information on the browser and operating system, referring websites, visiting time and other information on the use of the online offer are stored. The IP address of the user is also recorded, whereby we inform you within the framework of Google Analytics that the IP address will be shortened within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

All user data are only processed as pseudonymous data. This means that Google does not save any names or email addresses. All displayed advertisements are therefore not displayed specifically to a person, but to the owner of the cookie. This information is collected by Google and transmitted to servers in the USA and stored there.

The Google Marketing Services we use include the online advertising program Google AdWords. In the case of Google AdWords, each AdWords customer receives a different conversion cookie. These cookies can therefore not be tracked across the websites of different AdWords customers. The information obtained with the help of the cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The AdWords customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

The Google services are used via the Google Tag Manager. You can find more information on the use of data by Google for marketing purposes on the overview page: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads, Google’s privacy policy is under https://www.google.com/policies/privacy accessible.
